The structure of this apparatus is a metal cylinder whose one end is made into the shape of semi sphere and the other end is flat, and it's mounted on an insulating pillar.The pillar is fixedon a metal base.Two of these apparatuses are for one set.When doing electrostatics experiments, two flat ends of these two apparatuses may be contacted closely. With these apparatuses, the experiments of electrostatic induction and inducing electrification can be done.
